Sorry about the late update as we had a issue to attend to last night. We had a great day of riding as the racers that race on Friday morning all went out in the morning and we rode their course. Again it is a bland one as there is so much good trail here but as always the pros just get to ride and the officials want a short one with alot of punchy climbs and a area where they can see the pro's 90% of the time for the crowd. Good luck on this course. Then we came back ate lunch and headed out with the racers that race Thursday and catch a lap. It was all going fine until Myles, Nate and Mitch turned down the more difficult down hill section instead of the normal course. Near the end Nate's front tire hit a rut and flipped him over the bars and right on his hip. He landed on a rock and received a rather deep puncture wound and worst of all tore his bibs and cracked his carbon bars. After checking the bike we ran him in to the ER. He got some stitches and the Dr said he was good to go. We are hoping that he heals fast and the stiffness is to a minimum over the next day or 2 and that he is ready for the race Thursday. He does well usually and time will only tell. Then Jeff and Aaron arrived also so that was nice as they got to work on some of the bikes and now we are in great hands and the bikes are running like new again. Well time to get to the bike garage and finish some cable replacements and get on the trails. I will keep you posted on Nate. Later..

That is like 85% more boy flesh than I feel comfortable viewing.
Glad to hear your priorities are straight "After checking the bike we ran him to the ER." Guess the bike had higher ER needs than The Boy.
Sol Vista used to have a 24-hr race and the course was not as viewer friendly. The race course had a lot of climbing and some scary (mostly at night) downhill sections.
