Today is Nate's 16th Birthday and we celebrated with a nice dinner for the EXPO Jr team. Then we served a awesome cake that Gus decorated up for Nate. Oh yeah we tossed in some ice cream along with the cake to. It is kind of different being here with just Nate and not Cece, Maddie and Jessie as I miss them and I know Nate does to. But they will be here on Tuesday for Nate's race as Cece, Jess and her Mom are driving out to watch to. It is going to be a fun week and we are hoping for some good results.

Today we rode the race course and all I have to say is that there is a lot of climbing and rocks. It is a cool course and if the kids are on they have good chances of doing real well. Today I rode with Emily as we let the others ride off and do their own pre ride not wanting to hold them up. But the guys who are marking the course suck and they placed a lot of the ribbons pretty far in and we had to back track at times to get back on course, morons. I have to say that it is a brutal one and you need legs and lungs for sure. But tomorrow is more course pre riding and then Aaron is coming back to prep the bikes and talk to the kids and get them ready for the big race. It is just beginning to get fun and I can't wait for the racing to start. Well time to put some clean clothes away and relax. Later..
