Press release for the ISCorp I'Abitibi
Nate got his last training ride in today and now he has to toss the last few things into the travel bag, go over the bike one last time and then load into the team travel van and head to the race tomorrow morning. Wow the time has flown by and now it is time to put all the hard work together for a good race and a good time. I hope that the team does well and they all have safe travels and a safe race. I will try to keep you posted on the results as I find out.

Kettles

Yesterday Nate got to tag along with Ron for a spin in the Kettles. Nate said that he wishes that he had done it a few more times this summer but with the racing and all it did not fit in. But maybe after he done with the races in Canada he will go and then after National camp he will fit in a few before school starts. Thanks Ron for taking Nate for the ride. Later..

Going's on

It has been a few days since the last update. But on Monday was the 4th of July and we had a little celebration at our house since Summerfest was closed and that had Maddie, and my parents free to get together. So we had a cookout and celebrated Nate's birthday early as my parents will be out of town by then. My brother, Ken, Chris, Paul and Cece's Mom came over to. It was nice as we swam and sat around and talked for a while. We were going to go to the crappy bike ride but after the heat and sun plus a few beers I sat at home and went to bed early. Maybe next year we will make the crappy bike ride.

ToAD 9

Today was the last ToAD race. I have to say it has been a long week of racing and crashes. But it has been a fun time to hang with Nate and the ISCorp kids and team. What a awesome group. Today it was more of the same as Nate raced the Jr race in the morning and just sat in and finished 5th as he had a 5 point lead in the overall and in the end won the Yellow Jersey as the Jr overall champ. Then it was recover as much as he could then line up for the cat 2/3 race. He was sitting nicely in the pack when some guy sticks his front tire in the back of Nate's bike and rips off his derailler and Nate then got the the SRAM pit and got a spare bike to finish the race. He sat near the front but then settled in the middle and just finished with the pack to stay safe. Fun racing and glad it is done. Now time to chill and recover. Thanks for the great race series ToAD and ISCorp for the support. See you on the road. Later..

ToAd 8

Well what a day to say the least. Nate took a 2nd in the Jr race and it increased his lead in his led to 5 points again and now he just needs to ride the race tomorrow and he should win the jr overall. Then in the cat 2/3 he was sitting good and went down in another crash with 5 to go and so he chased back and got on and then went for a few laps and then he got a flat tire and just finished the race. Oh well tomorrow is the last race and we can't wait to it to finish and relax to get ready for the l'Bitibi. Just hoping to get by with no broken bones. Here are some awesome picture taken taken today. I will post more Later as I am beat. Later..

ToAD 7

Today was the crit in Fond du Lac and as always the flat course made for a fast race. Today we sent Joesy on his way with his parents and we miss im already. But we are replacing his spot with Kevin in the house. Never a dull moment at our house. So that left us with Gage in the cat 4/5 race today. He had a awesome race as he sat in the front and made the move to take a $50.00 prime and the stayed in the front to finish a strong 20th place in the race. Then it was Nate up next and he sat in the front for most of the race and tried to go off the front a few times only to be pulled back in and in the end he was sitting in the front and the field came around and he was boxed in and fought back for a 14th place finish for a spot in the money. Good day of racing as he stayed upright and no crashes so it was a good day. Tomorrow is the great Downer Ave race and Nate raced at 11:20 in the Jr race and then 2:20 in the cat 2/3. Come see some fast and great racing. Later..
