Feeling Ill

This morning I got up and my head was all stuffy and mt throat was sore. As the day went on I felt worse and my eyes began to hurt. I knew that by the end of the day I would be feeling like crap. Went to the chiropractor and got home I rode the rollers and I felt a little better. Now just sitting here I'm beginning to feel a little worse again. So nothing else going on so see ya at the bmx practice. Later..

New Crib

Well today my parents moved Grandma into a new crib. It is a real nice place that we found out from Vince and his mother runs it. It is a real nice place with great people running it and Grandma really likes it. It is run nice and they really take care if the people that stay there. I hope Grandma does well and enjoys they the place. It is a small assisted care place and all the people get great care and never need to ask for help for any thing. Boy that is a relief after the care she was getting at the last few places that she was at. Thanks a lot Vince for the great place for Grandma. Snow snow go away. Just got in from shoveling and I hope it stops soon. Later..

Having fun

Today at the bmx races it was another lower turnout. But the gang that showed up had a good day on the track. Nate took 1st in age and missed the main in cruiser. Ron took a 4th in open and 3rd in age even though his back was tweaked. Danny showed up and made the main and took 3rd. Mitch came back and took a 2nd in age. I took a 4th today as 2 of the fast guys showed up today and left me fighting for the scraps. I bought a new pair of handle bars for Nate's 2o inch and we put them on his bike and he looked way better and he said that the bike felt better. So it appears to be a good move. I may bring the 20 felt to the track and start riding that and may try a few age races and give the cruiser a break. I'll see how it feels on Thursday.

My Bad

I was told I thought at first we were going to a play. But my bad I guess as we seen group of Chinese acrobats perform. It was a small show that had a limited show of some ok performances. Nothing real cool but entertaining for the kids none the less. We seen a guy change a bunch of masks, a lady tossing a thing in the air like the picture. Also a lady do some hula hoops and a then some lady bend her body in different ways. A ok show but nothing that mind blowing. After the show we went out to eat at the place we had our wedding reception. The food was good as it was on our wedding night and you get a ton for a little bit of money. May have to make the trip back there a few more times. Tomorrow we hit the bmx races and hope that I don't crash and the Boy brings home some bling. Later..

Quiet

The house is empty as Nate is at a school dance hitting on the girls. Jessica is at a movie for the kids at school also. And Cece took Maddie to the store to get a gift for a birthday party that she is going to tomorrow. Not often enough that I get the house to myself. Now the thing is what should I do? Well I rode the rollers already so that is out, so I will go downstairs and lift weights and then bring up the clean clothes and start folding those. Oh so much to do in a nice and quiet house.

Tomorrow it is a ride and then down to Racine to see a play. We are going with Cece's Mother and also Cece's brother and his family are tagging along. Oh I can't wait as I would rather push tooth picks under my nails. I have never been into plays or comics anything of such so I hope that this is kind of good. The good thing is that Cece's Mom is taking us out to eat after so that is taking some of the pain away. Then it is rush home and get Maddie to the overnight birthday party. I'll let ya know how the play was tomorrow night. Must get downstairs and lift. Later..

Wheel 1 - Nate 1

Well this Punk was doing these manuals real nice and the Ronsta took it to the next step. Hey Nate why don't we start having you jump this stuff. He cleared the first and second double nice and sweet the first try. I stop to watch with Ron and then the Punk cased it the next 3 times and now Ron has the rear wheel at home fixing it back up. Not worried as Ron will have the wheel nice and round again for the racing on Sunday. Thanks again for the lessons you are giving Nate he is really doing great. Hell he is beating all of us and soon I think he will be on your back wheel.

The practice tonight was a blast and on the way home I was tired. I had a few rounds of gates were I lined up with the goat and we just hammered each other. Jeremey has the gate down and now it is a battle each time into the first turn to see who backs down first, what a blast. Then I did a bunch of gates with Ray and man he is just plain old fast and I can't get in front of him unless there is some traffic slowing him down. Danny is getting faster and I wish he would race a time or 2 but he doesn't want to so for now it is just battle him at practice. Fast guy Joe is just plain old fast and I know it won't be long and he will be racing again tearing it up like the old days. Want to have some fun come and rip it up at the track with us. ER is on and I don't want to miss to much. Later..

Sick kid

Today while I was at work I got a call from Jessica's teacher and I think I hope she didn't repeat anything Russell has told her, lucky me that wasn't the case. She says that Jessica is sick and that she has puked a couple of times and needs to come home. A good thing is that we have a lady that watches the punks after school and days that we can't get off so she went and got her. That was good but at 2:45 she calls and says Jessica has thrown up 2 more times and we need to come and get her. I call Cece as school is over and she high tails it there and got her home. Shorten this up she is feeling a little better after a nice bath and watching Napoleon Dynamite and falling asleep. I hope she feels better in the morning.

Went to the chiropractor and had the electricity things hooked back up and the neck is feeling better. It is still sore when I look to the right or move real fast in either direction but nowhere near as bad as it was 10 days ago. The neck is really sore in the mornings to the point that it has me just about buckled over, nothing I can't handle but it would have Randy out for a couple of weeks. Doc says a couple of more adjustments and all should be back to normal soon.

After work before the chiropractor appointment I went and visited Grandma. Boy she is doing great and should be out of rehab in about a week. She is doing really good and we are going to move her in a nice assisted living place. It is supposed to be a good place as Vince told me about as his Mother works there so my parents checked it out and we are moving her there early next week. See ya at the bmx track. Later..

2-6-07

With the weather being this damn cold now the walk up the mountain to get to this beautiful stream would be great. The kids got to swim in the water near the top as we waded around watching. The temps were in the high 90's and the water was in the 30's or 40's, to cold for me. It was a nice 3 mile up hill walk to the area we swam in and then a better down hill walk back to the truck.

Yesterday I went and got another adjustment on the neck and the electric things hooked back up. Last night was a first good night of sleep that I have gotten in the last 10 days since I landed on my head. I have to go again tomorrow and Friday so I'm hoping that after that visit the neck and the muscles that I messed up will be back to normal. The muscles are still a little stiff today and doing better as the day goes on. I will lift weights after we eat and that will be the test to see how I'm doing.

The Punks have had the last 2 days off and that was nice for them but I think that they are going to have to make the days up later. I know that they have to have a certain amount of days of school and Cece said that she thinks that the schools have been only building 1 day a year to miss so we think that they may have 2 extra days at the end now. Just have to wait and see. The news at 6 said that the kids will have school in the morning so back to the normal things tonight and a short week for them. I just hope that they teachers don't give a ton of school work Thursday so they aren't up late after the bmx practice. Later..

This is the fine lady that gave The Tool his 4th place trophy this weekend. The F is for Fast Guys only and that is Russell on his little bike. Russ next time she offers to kiss you when get your award don't slip her the tongue that was embarrassing to watch.

Double win

Here is what the other racers that had to line up next to Nate got to look at today. He was out of the gate fast and quick today. In his cruiser he had a total pointer and easily won that race. The top racers that he usually races were at the National on Oklahoma but he would have been pushing them today. In age he was fast and just blew the others away. the kid that crashed him in turn 3 last week wasn't close this week and Nate just rode away with the win. So he got a double 1st place today. since joining the Alpha wing team Nate has been racing really good so hopefully that was the kick he and I needed. Thanks Ron for the hook up.

I raced today even though my next and shoulder were screaming in pain when I woke up. It really hurts when I'm sitting and in turn 2. I felt alright and just made sure that I would make into the main. I was one of the 5 that started in moto 1 and didn't push anything and had to race again in moto 2. I won the 2nd moto and made it into the main. I had a good gate start and was right there in turn 2 and could have pushed the issue and moved into 2nd but I don't want to go down and mess it up so rode in in 3rd and that was fine for me.

Today Ron had a total point for age and had to race a couple of fast guys and ended up 3rd. Sammi had to race from behind as she got pushed up in turn 1 the first moto and ended up with the 1st place when the dust settled. Skyler took a 4th in open and a 1st in age. She was looking real good again. Kenny I think took a 4th and Josh had a Birthday so he moved to the 7 year old group and didn't make the mains. For the best of the day Russell showed up and raced 2o inch and he had a pretty good day. He just missed making the open main as he let Cookies pass him. for the age he made the main and ended up taking a 4th place. Way to race today everyone and see you at the gate practices. Now we need to go and collect Nate's other prizes at the cross banquet. Later..

Electrocution

This morning I went to the chiropractor and he hooked a machine somewhat like this to my neck. It made the muscles twitch and move and by the end a lot of the pain was gone. He then did a adjustment and the neck went snap, crackle and pop and the movement was greatly improved. I'm hoping that I'm somewhat pain free and I have good movement tomorrow as we have the bmx races. And there is no question to ask YES I'm going to race again as I don't let a little pain in the neck stop me from racing. So any how since it is going to be a little cold out tomorrow come and race or come and watch as we race at about 1pm. Gates start dropping at 10 am. Remember if you talk to Jake he will let all of the mountain bikers race for free for their first race if you haven't raced before. See you at the races or at the gate practice. Later..

Just wishing

Here are the Punks sitting by the pool out in California. With it being like -10 degrees the next couple of days I sure wish I was here. This was at the villa we stayed at in Sonoma. It was a really nice place and we were able to go to about 8 vineyards with in 1/4 mile of our place. Someday we will make it back out there.

Today I'm just chill'n and getting a few things done. Today I took the Felt cruiser to the shop and Alan was able to put a new adaptor in and the cranks now fit great. Once the new gear comes in I may try racing on it. The bike is tight and very comfortable for the short rides that I have tried it so it should be a nice ride. I'll have to see how the nick is feeling in the morning and if I ride or not. I'm leaning in not as the neck and shoulders are still sore from the crash last Sat night so maybe just the rollers again. Now I'm going to go and fold some clothes. How boring is that? Later..

Ouch that hurts

The first few times around the bmx track felt like I was ripping my shoulders off. As the night went on I felt better but I laid low for the most part of the night. I was just hitting the gates hard and not worrying after that. I just got out and shut it down and get out of the way. Man Nate is just going way fast and making us all look like we are standing still. He has a real good gate and has the manuals down thanks to Ron. Mitch got a new bike and is looking real good and is trying to do manuals and jumps. It won't be long and he will have it all together. Gage is beginning to pedal into turn 1 and getting some separation and that is making him try to get the skills to get the speed up. In a few weeks it should start coming together for him to. Maddie took a fall thanks to Gage and had a scrap on her elbow. we made her clean it up and keep on riding. She also is looking a little better each week. I wish she would turn that corner and start to really push it and try to get better and faster, well maybe some day. The rest of us are looking better and I mean a very little better each week.

This weekend is racing again and then the cross awards on Sunday night. What a stupid night for awards with the Super Bowl and all. But we need to go there and get Nate his State Champ jersey and the other awards for winning his age. He had a good year racing cross and maybe next year we will go to the Nationals now that there are in KC. Just have to see how the year goes and plan that when the time comes. ER is on and I'm missing it so time to go. Later..

Pictures of the neck

Today I went to the chiropractor and told him of the crash I took over the weekend and he was concerned. He moved the neck and evaluated the areas that were sore and then insisted on taking X-rays of the neck. He then did his magic and told me to set up a appt for Sat morning so he could check the neck out again and look at the X-rays before then. I don't think that there is anything to wrong as the burning in the arms has pretty much gone away and that the pain is there only when I look to the right. Sleeping is still the time when it is really uncomfortable but I can live with it. Word is to try to not land on your head when riding your bike.

Going to try to get on the bike after dinner and then if time allows stop over by grandma. If can't make it there I will try to get there during my lunch break tomorrow. Today Cece had to stay home as Jessica was not feeling good and couldn't go to school. I hope she feels better as I may need to take the next day. I just hope it doesn't make a run through the house. New Brain Bucket

I stopped by Ben's Cycle yesterday and Danny ordered a new helmet for me. I settled for the Fly Maverick helmet. I knew when I got it home I would loose it to The Boy. That in fact happened and now I have a new helmet that used to be Nate's. No problem as I always liked that helmet. The guys at the shop also told me to bring the cracked Bell helmet in and that they would see if it could be warrantied, if so I would keep it for the spare for the next time I land on my head.

The pains in the neck and arm are getting a little better each day. Last night I got up at about 2 in the morning and I was in so much pain I almost took some of the pain killers I have left from when I smashed the fingers. I didn't give in and take any of the pain meds and I walked around until the pain was better and slept on the heating pad for the rest of the night and that made it feel better. The pain is not going to stop me from the gate practice on Thursday and racing this weekend, any how it's only going to be like -9 degrees outside. So come and race or come and watch. Let's get ready for some elbows and bumping in the corners. Later..

Russell's Super Mate of the Week

Russell has been dropping the pounds lately and may have to race age instead of the fat man group (lucky for Bubba). I think his super mate/room mate is taking all of Russell's food. Fight back Russell.

A bunch of 3's

Today I woke up and let me tell ya the body was really sore. I could hardly lift my head as the neck was sore as hell and the arms still felt weird as the burning and needles felling was still there. I still took a few aspirins and got the stuff ready for some racing. I went and shoveled the snow and then the neck and arms felt fine. So racing is what I planned for the afternoon. we loaded the rest of the equipment and went to the races.

Nate had the toughest cruiser moto's so far this year. He had a couple of the fastest racers in the nation in his group. In the first moto Nate had a great gate and was right on the wheels of the leaders and was pushing them into turn 3 and they hooked up and Nate went by and made it to the main. The guy with the National 7 plate didn't even make it to the main. In the main Nate again had a good gate start and almost pushed Bodie over the 1st turn but didn't and then Bodie got ahead and Nate had to settle for 3rd. That was a great finish with those others in there. In age he got through in the first moto and then in the final he was leading and the guy in 2nd took him out in turn 3 and he had to settle for 3rd again. It is to bad that these guys are going after Nate and taking him out in the turns. He is taking it good and just says that part of the racing and his time will come and he will take each out or over the top of the turns.

I had a full rack of 8 in my 1st moto and the first 3 across made it but I wasn't one of those racers. I had a good gate in the 2nd moto and just held my position and made it to the main. That was my goal and wasn't really thinking that a top finish was possible with how my body was feeling and the guys I had to race. In the main I had gate 8 and just plain old sucks. I got a good start and moved into 5th in the 1st turn and was thinking maybe 1 more spot in the 2nd turn as I was right on John's wheel. No need as the 2 guys in 2nd and 3rd took each other out in the turn and I rolled across in 3rd. Nice way to end the day.

I looked at my helmet today and I have to have Danny order me a new one as I cracked it. Hell I didn't think you could crack a full face helmet. Thank heaven they do what they are intended to and the brains are still inside the head and the wife and kids aren't changing my diaper for the rest of my life.

There were alot of others racing today and the top one of the day was Fast girl Sam as she won again today. In her main she had to tangle with one of the other racers in turn 2 and Sammi just pedaled out and the other girl went down and Sam got the win easily. Nice race Sam. Mitch was back today for his second day of racing, I mean he stayed over night here so I took him and he raced well again. He took a 3rd as he was bumped up to the 13 novice group and a few of the others have been racing for a while. Great racing Mitch. And then the Ronsta was back and today the guys in his age were getting anxious in the gates and running into them and Ron was clean. He made it to the main and took 4th. Again great racing Ron. Time to go down and eat. Later..

Race update.

Nate took 2nd in both races and should have won age. I took 3rd again after crashing hard in moto 2. Ron made main in open and missed age. Kenny took 2nd and Josh took 3rd. Sammy won cruiser and Skyler I think took 3rd in open and age. My body hurts I must go and lay down. Later..

Double weekend

Nate and I are heading to the bmx track for some racing today and tomorrow. As always it is a fun time to race the 2 days in a row. I'm hoping to make the mains each day and as for Nate it is that he wins the mains. Nate is looking better each week and that is thanks to Ronsta for all the pointers that he is giving him. I try to listen in and pick up the pointers that Ron gives Nate but my body won't let me do the things that they are doing. Maybe down the road I can coax my body into trying the manuals and jumps. Mouse update

The dump that was trying to push these little critters along with the food and maxi-pads was still closed yesterday. We went back today and the place was all better and the big boss that came along with me after a little coaxing by me gave the thumbs up and let the dump open. Also on the way out of the parking lot we had to stop a few of Milwaukee's finest homeless trying to take the damaged and bleached up food from the dumpster. I told them that it was adulterated and that they will get sick. They wanted to call more friends and take care of me so they could take the food. I laughed and started to take the trash back and told them to leave or they would be sitting in the back of a police car. We mad the owner call for a special garbage pick up and have a worker stay out there until it was picked up. The homeless left and I called it a day and went home. I love my job.

Last night was another blast at the bmx track and the kids are getting faster. The Goat and I are thinking of a jr. team to put together for the 24 hour race this summer. Just in the planning stage but we have a group of 4 kids in mind already and they are all in agreement. Hope it pans out for the race. I got home last night and the computer was signed up for the night as Cece was first in line doing her grades and other school things and then Nate had to do a book report so I gave it up until today.

I we to the interview to run the Oak Creek health dept and I think it went well. It was just a eliminator interview as there will another interview next week if I get the call. I think I had a good interview and I'm hoping that I made the final cut and get to try to sell myself a little more and have a chance at the job. Just have to wait and see. Time to get ready for the Hayes team meeting. Later..

Not Finished

I still left this sign hanging in the window of the dump I closed yesterday. I really wonder what the Hell these operators are thinking. Just the smell alone of the piss yesterday was unreal. Today it smelt like a pine forest and they must have gone through 10 bottles of Pine Sol trying to mask the mouse piss smell. Now the Pine Sol smell is just as obnoxious as the smell of the mouse piss. Well today I moved some of the shelving and there was still mouse shit every where and a few bags of the chips had holes from the mice eating into them. WTF are these guys thinking? Oh Mr. Jay we cleaned up and can you let us open now? NO I say to you. Not one of the doors gaps or the holes in the cracks along the exterior of the building was taking care of. I mean the list could go on but they aren't ready so needless to say they are not selling any food yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I just got done throwing a resume together as I have a interview on Friday for a job in Oak Creek. This would be the same job as I was doing in Milwaukee. Inspecting the restaurants, school and hotels and other food establishments. But there are added jobs such as pools, lead in homes, animal control and a few other smaller jobs tossed in. Not that I'm not happy where I'm working but it is a chance to make a few more dollars and even maybe now I could move out of the city of Milwaukee. But the kick is Cece is working for the city so if she wants to keep working at the school she is at we have to stay in Milwaukee. But I think that she could get a job teaching anywhere so we just have to worry about step 1, get the job offer in Oak Creek first. enough for now and I need a big bowl of ice cream. You are closed sucka

Today I thought I was going to have a nice and easy day. It started off with a meeting in the morning and then I could coast through the rest of the afternoon. Wrong. I get to the office and answer the messages and emails and then it turned to shit from there. I get a message that a gas station in a district that the inspector is off in Vegas has a bad problem. MICE eating everything. So at 2pm I get in the van and head on over and as I walk in you can smell the mouse piss in the air right inside the door. I get the papers and tell the workers that they are closed. The guy behind the glass makes a call and hands the phone to me. I tell the owner that I just closed your store and that the workers need to toss all damaged food as I'm standing there and clean and sanitize everything. The owner gets there in a few minutes and from where he came from that fast still has me amazed. He tried talking me out of closing him for like 2o minutes and I just kept telling him this place is in real bad shape and he needs to get cleaning and tossing the damaged food or he may never open. As I was watching them dispose of the half eatin bags of chips I move a bunch of bags of maxi pads by my feet and a mouse runs over the top of my shoe. I do a quick move and stomp on it, 1 down. I have a worker move the rest of the maxi pad packages and I stomp on 4 more and the owner and worker get a couple more. I look at the owner and now you can see it is clicking that his place is filthy and has a problem and this is why I'm there. So after watching the food get tossed I have the owner start cleaning and then I leave to give the police a copy so they can watch the store over night to make sure that it stays closed while I'm not working. $500.00 ticket if they operate after I close them so I hope that they clean and not try to sell after I left. So by the end I had to work 2.5 hours overtime dealing with this dump. Time to go lift weights. Later..

32 drops

Today Nate and I loaded the little bikes into the car and took the nice slow ride to the barn. On the way to the races there was 7 cars in the ditches because of the few inches of snow on the ground. We kept it safe and did about 60mph all the way there and keep the wheels on the pavement. Once we got to the races we were one of the first few people there. It was nice as there was room to sit and get to the gates for practice and for the moto's with out bumping into people. Today Ronsta got Nate, myself, Kenny and Josh onto the Alpha wings bmx team. That will be nice as the team is a nice relaxed team, so this gives us a chance to get points from racing for a team. Thanks Ron. Today was a good day of racing as there was only 32 moto's. Nate took a 2nd in age and in cruiser. I took a 3rd as I slipped a pedal before turn 1 and that messed me up. Kenny took a 2nd place today and Ronsta took a 5th place also. So it was a good day of racing for us at the barn. Got home and had to shovel all the snow and clear out the older neighbor's for good measure also. Now time to sit back and relax. Later..

1-20

When I finally got my sorry ass out of bed this morning I got it on the spin bike for a work out. I did a time trail workout today to just keep the legs OK for the bmx races tomorrow. After working out I got busy going through the piles of old crap I had laying around the basement from building and repairing the bikes over the last few months. I tossed a stripped crank arm, bent brake levers, cables, housing, chains, tires, tubes and ton's of other unneeded crap. I couldn't believe how much junk I had laying on the base of the work stand. Now the area is clean and ready for the next round of collecting. When I got done with the basement I went and visited Grandma as she is home now and doing pretty darn good for a 88 year old that is still living on her own.

Just now I just finished my science project ( I mean Nathan did ). These teachers give these big ass projects that none of these kids do themselves as there would be no way that they could. I have been doing science projects for (with) the kids for the last 4 years and I think that is will continue for the next 12 years until Jess is out of high school. We did a electrical current and total foot candle brightness of the light bulbs with the total distance with different lengths of wire. No change for any foot candle brightness as the 3 were all the same. I knew that would be the case but it was a good project for Nate and hopefully a grade A project. Now we are going to sit down and watch The Great Outdoors with the punks. Later..

New bike

Here is a shot of the new cruiser that I built up for Nate. It is a bike in the waiting as he is a season or 2 away but the deals to get the parts came so I picked them up and before I knew it I had enough for the complete bike. So I put it together and now it awaits for him. I may take it to the track and ride it a bunch of times or maybe even race it myself a time or 2.

I also ordered a new mtn bike frame for Nate and it should be here in a couple of days. When it gets here we are going to put nothing but the top of the line equipment on it so it will be a sweet ride. It should be flying by many ( Randy for sure ) when the race season starts so when you hear on you left take a look at it, you will definitely like it.

Have to get moving as I think I may take the Punks to a movie this afternoon. I will cook a 7 course meal for lunch today. Hot dogs, beans chips, fruit, candy, soda and cookies. I hope that I don't disappoint them with the lunch. Time to get my butt moving. Later..

No Mas

Today at the end of the bmx practice I was spent. I could not do any more gates and there was still 10 minutes left. That is rare when I can't take anymore gates. I did do a workout in the morning and then ran some errands and then took the punks to the hill for s0me sledding before hitting the bmx track. At the track The Boy is getting better and faster and just flying around the track thanks to Ron giving him all the pointers. We had a few full gates of all WORS racers and it was a blast. Fast Girl Sam is getting faster and beginning to take us all including Ron in the 1st corner. It was a blast and at the end I just couldn't take anymore gates. Maddie is looking better and I'm trying to get her to pull up into the doubles and pump over the rhythm areas. It may take some time to get her going the right way though. Tomorrow I will try to post a picture of the new Felt cruiser I put together for Nate with he needs a bigger bike. I may race it a few times to make sure it rides well. I know I can't ride it as fast as he will but I will try. Later..

A OK Today

I feel like a million dollars today. After how I felt yesterday I was wondering if I was going to be ok for the bmx practice tomorrow. But no worries all ok now.

Tonight we have to go and get in a few faces tonight as we are meeting with a few of the kids teachers. Cece always loves when I go as I always make the teachers sit on the edge as I get into it as how they grade and discipline the kids. I just like making them squirm. After the conferences then it's time to get in the face of the kids when we get home. I love parenting. Later..

A rotten night and day

This how the tissue roll looked at 6pm last night and after way to many visits to the can.










This is how it looked at 9pm. I didn't sleep at all last night and was getting up every 10 minutes to go to the can. This morning I got out of bed showered and laid back down. I was a step away from calling in and not going to work but I had a appointment at the airport that I didn't want to break. So off to work I went as I have only called in to work ill 1 time in 13 years. The other times I couldn't get to work was because of infections in the leg or my hand last summer. I had a few hours of flex time so I just left an hour early to rest the rest of the night. Time for rest. Later..

OK Day

Today Nate and I hit the barn for some more bmx'n. It was a an ok day at the track. Nate took 2 3rd places and I got a 2nd. Nate had a tough cruiser as he had to race Bodie and the 7th ranked cruiser in his age. Nate was right there in the first turn and right on their heals into the 3rd turn but had to settle for 3rd in the end. In his age he had some real good gate starts but in the 2nd moto he was taken out in the 1st turn and he had to settle for 3rd at the end. The white trash kid was supposed to move up this week but he didn't so the ABA will not award his points this week. We don't care but the piece of crap is trying to take Nate out because he beats him out of the gate. Hopefully this is the end of this kid until they meet in Expert sometime this summer.

I had a good day today as I made it to the main in the first moto and then had gate7 for the main so that was not that good so I had to do a nice low high in turn 1 and then make it stick for the rest of the race. I knew in turn 2 Rich would be looking to return the favor by trying to get into the turn below me and force me over the top. I didn't let it happen and then in turn 3 he was going straight for me and I was able to get in the turn before him and he had to tap the brakes so I got the 2nd place.

It was also a good day for Kenny and Josh as they both got 2nd place finishes today. It was great to see Josh get the 2nd as he has been making steady improvements and now this should help him motivate to keep pushing to do well. Kenny had a good day as he got into the turns before Joey and had to hang on as Joey goes for the low high and runs people over all the time ( just ask Ron). You have to see it as Joey goes about 340 pounds but he can handle a bmx bike ok. Great job guys. And Ronsta was there and he was looking good and made both mains today. The tough thing is that he has to race some of the fastest guys. Ron then got a 4th and 7th. Good job Ron.

A little of this and that

Nate and I went to the swap meet today and we didn't see that much. I do think that we seen this bike there and they wanted $800.00 for it and then I seen someone walking out with it. We did find a couple of pair of Sidi shoes for him but nothing else that we needed. As always we did see a lot of crap and people were buying it. We didn't see any mtn bike frames that would have worked for Nate so have to talk to a few people and then decide what we want. Russell seemed to be busy unloading his stuff at a quick pace and went home with less then he brought for once. Danny got ride of his spare track frame so maybe he can pay off his new one. Other then spending a cold crappy day in Madison nothing else to do but sit back watch some football and then his the races tomorrow at the barn. Later..

Bring out your dead

Tomorrow The Boy and I are heading to the swap meet in Madison looking for a few items. We are mainly looking for a nice mtn bike frame about the 15 inch size. So if any one has a frame in good shape and you know one that some one would actually want to have give me a call and we will take a look at it. Then we a have a short list of things we are looking for also. Then as always it is fun to look at all the shit that some people think is good and that some one would actually give them money for it. Hopefully Russ or Ron will bring their cameras and get a few pictures of this shit. Other then that not a thing going on here. So see you at the swap meet. Later..

Thursday Throw Down

Well today we all went to the track and it was a who could get out of the gate the fastest every time. It was a blast and I'm tired as hell right now. It was fun to see Fast Guy Joe there throwing it down after not being on a bmx bike in like 5 years. He has some mad skills as does Dan Tav's. Again Ron thanks for working with Nate as I he is getting faster each week that you are helping him. Hell he is destroying all of us like nothing. Watch out Ron he has you in his site. Today Mitch and Katie were there also so that was nice to see. The Goat was working with them today so pretty soon they will be beating us to. I think that there are more mountain bikers there every week and pretty soon I think we can get like 50 of them there. I think this summer maybe that will be happening at the track in Franklin. Time to get The Boy doing the rest of his homework.

Oh Crap

I signed in on my computer and the damn thing logged me in and all my settings were gone. I mean all my pictures and all my favorites everything. So now I have to start over collecting both. Oh well. I'll have to start getting my collection of pictures of the punks racing again and a couple of me again. I then have to down load the pictures from California and Christmas and try to find the others again. I checked everyone elses settings and they didn't loose their setting or pictures so that was a good thing. Tomorrow we have the bmx practice and I can't wait to mix it up with the gang again. With the weather turning alittle cold I wonder if there will be a night ride this Thursday? I would maybe go but I have to see it the weather is to cold and if I feel like waiting for things like flats and broken bikes in the cold weather and try to get started again after sooling down.

The swap meet is Saturday in Madison. Got a short list of things that we are looking for there so hopefully I can find a few of the items and then get the bikes ready for the race season. Speaking of race season a few changes are coming and we can't wait for the season to start. Later..

Bmx'n

Today Nate and I hit the barn for some fun Bmx racing. It was a crowded day at the track as all the kids got their new bikes and parts so they had to show up and race. We had a ok day as Nate got 3rd in age and 4th in cruiser. I got another 3rd in my cruiser race. Not a great day of racing but still always fun. I think the riding yesterday may have taken some of the energy from Nate but he still rode fine. I felt fine but I need a few gate practices to get the flow back. Ron was there today to race also but now that he is in the older expert class the guys he is racing are fast and I think most of them go to all the Nationals so he has his work cut out at every race. At least Ron doesn't have to worry about the young guys trying to crash you out because you are ahead of them and they take the lines that aren't there. So in short Ron missed the main today but after a few practices I'm sure he will be right in the middle of it all again. well see you all the practice Thursday. Later..

Pet's

This morning the Boy and I headed to Pet's down in Kenosha to ride with the Goat. It was a nice small group of Goat, Donny, Jerry, Lori, Chris, The Boy and myself. The Goat was leading the ride and The Boy was putting the pressure on him for most of the ride. The Goat was trying to ride over all these narly roots , drops, climbs and log roll overs and The Boy was matching him. The rest of us had to put our feet down or walk up many areas but not the Goat and The Boy, they made it up most of the more difficult areas. Poor Chris decided to drop his chain right before a bridge and then he proceeded to plant his chest right into a root. He was a trooper and was ready to hang it up and go home but he toughed it out and rode with us for most of the ride. Donny tried and miss judged a few log rollers and laid it down so thanks for the show Donny. Lori was riding good but she did chicken out a few times, but maybe she will try a few more when she watches The Boy show her up a few more times.

I got a flat and had to walk back to the car thinking that I didn't have my 3/4 inch wrench to take the nut off my rear wheel. I got to the car and was thinking what the hell am I going to do. I opened the trunk and checked the bag and I didn't have it. I looked under the bag to see if anything would magically appear and I noticed that I had my 4 star wheel lug nut remover for the car tires and I checked and one of the lug removers fit the nut perfect. I got the flat changed and called Donny's phone and they came back and got me to finish the ride. I'm glad that I was able to fix the flat as the riding was awesome and I would have hated to miss it. In all the ride was awesome and I will definitely make it back for another ride. Thanks Goat for the great ride.

Got home and washed the bikes as they did get a little dirty and I didn't want to get yelled at for always bringing dirty bikes in to the basement. I also washed Cece's bike as it was still dirty from the Thursday ride. I did find a derailleur hanger at Ben's and was able to have my spare bike back together again after taking the hanger off it to get Cece's back together after The boy broke it. I ordered 4 extra ones as I will put one in the seat bags and carry a few in the tool bag also. I love the single speed as I don't have to worry about any of that crap.

Tomorrow The Boy and I are going to the bmx races so I have to get a few things done. Later..

1 week down

I'm glad that the first week of work for the 2007 year is over and boy only 50 more weeks till Christmas. I talked to Nate today and if the rain and possible snow hold off we are going to join the Goat for a ride at Pets. So if you are not joining the Sat road ride at 9:30am come and join the ride in Kenosha at 9:00am. Nate is at a dance tonight and the girls are rearranging their room, oh what fun at our house on a Friday. This Sunday is also the first races at the bmx track so if you have some time or maybe nothing going on after a ride stop by and see some races. The races start at 1 pm and are over by about 3pm so you do get time to ride before or get home for dinner after. Time to get out of the way of the mad movers. Later..

Night ride'n in Jan

Last night we did a night ride since there was no riding at the bmx track. It was a beautiful night to take a ride since it was 50 degrees in January and there was crap on TV. The ride brought out many of the local crazy people that we haven't seen for a while or at least some that I haven't seen for a while. We got there and had to wait for a few as they ventured up from Waterford and Burlington so we cut them a break. Once we got the crew rolling it went pretty good even though Russell was leading the ride. He put a few pauses on a slight incline or on in a turn to mess everyone else's rhythm up but that is a Russell move. We were moving along and The Boy was putting the moves on the Goat and keeping at Bay and then we had to take a break so Donny could fix a flat and the Goat got a chance to catch his breath. The Goat then just got into the single track that Bubba just put in ahead of The Boy and a stick jumped up and ripped off his derailleur. That was just what I needed as he was riding Cece's mtn bike so I could see how the size was as I need to pick up a new frame or bike for him this year. We stopped and then took the derailleur off removed a few links and made it into a single speed so The Boy could finish the ride. Thanks to Donny and Rick for the help in the woods. Oh yea and the rest for waiting. That meant that the bike wasn't the same for The Boy and the Goat got a break, next time he will be bust'n him up. Well The Boy will dust the Goat at the bmx track and get even there first and then the next ride. The trails were in good shape considering the rain we got and well worth the trip for the ride. I got home and was able to get the hanger off a spare bike and got Cece's mtn bike fixed up it is ready for the next ride. See you at the Sat road ride. Back to work. Later..

Whale on the beach

I rode at the lake front today at the early ride and there was 4 of us at the start. John B., Dan Tav's, Tom Shuler and myself. We rode up to Atwater park and the group ride there was a gun fight and we had our knifes so we said later and headed to the river trails. The trails we ok except for a few places that were muddy, so we rode the trails back to the lakefront to watch the idiots jump in the lake. It was an entertaining show and well worth the trip. I was thinking about riding from Russell's but I was thinking that I live closer to the lake and went for the closer ride, well a few us did show up and it was a nice ride anyhow.

Tomorrow it is back top work and the same old grind. Start a new year and new goals for the season. Have to think them and check out the race's that I want to hit and get myself moving. There is BMX practice this Thursday so that should be fun bumping and hitting the dirt with the gang again. Time to start taking the tree down. Later..

Another one down

I didn't sleep in today but I did not do the ride from Russell's shed this morning either. I skipped the ride because I didn't want to ride in the rain in 40 degree weather. I hate riding in the rain in 80 degree weather so I sure won't do it in the cold even if some of the guys that were riding today I enjoy riding with at almost any time possible. I did go to church with the family this morning as this is something I miss a lot because of the bmx and mountain bike races so that was a bonus. After church Cece did get to go and have a visit with a friend of hers that has cancer that would have been a maybe not if I rode so that was nice as it meant a lot to her and her friend to have the visit. I did get a 40 mile ride in on the spin bike although not as fun it was a ride. Just dropped The Boy off at his friends house as they are going to go roller skating and play video games and probably down load things on the I-Pods all night. That means we are not going to go to the midnight gate drop this year. He is spending the night so that is one less punk here. Cece's Mother is coming as we were up north for Christmas so we are exchanging the gifts today. So I guess loose one punk and another was added. Maybe after the dinner tonight if the other guys are out anywhere I may meet them. Just have to see what is going on. Later..

Nice ride

We went on the Sat morning ride today and as always it was uneventful. Well there were 2 flats and and a crash in the mud on the ped way. All was fine and we managed to keep it together and not drop anyone. The Boy is getting to big for his bike so I put road tires on the cross bike so he will be dropping Randy on that from now on not his or his sisters bike. For a recap and some pictures check out The Rusty Fools shed. If the sky holds it's piss tomorrow The Boy and I are going to do Russell's ride at 9:30am from the shed. Be there as it will be the last day that we get to make fun of Ranby and the boys.

Now that The Boy has an I-Pod the time for me to get on the Computer is getting less each day as he is surfing it to get music. It is a interesting little thing and bot so they have a market on the I-Pod and the way you can get the music, videos and movies. Oh well I will have to put some of my music on it as he has the the big one. Time to get off the computer as Nate is waiting to look for music and etc. Later..

I-Pod

Tonight Nate and his friend Kyle and myself figured out how to download songs to his I-pod. Let me tell you this is not an easy thing to figure out if you never play with these advanced electronic things. But we figured it out and we did transfer many of Nate's Cd's over. We didn't buy any music or videos yet though. We will get a few of the free podcasts and see about the rest. I will talk to John and Kyle about their music collection and maybe hijack a few from them also.

Tomorrow the Boy and I are going to do the ride from wheel. On Sunday we are going to go the The Rusty Tool ride and have a few of his PBR's and then make fun of Randy and Bubba for the last time this year and get ready for a new start next year. Later..

Home...

Well we made the trip home safe and sound. We had a great time up north and it was to bad we had to leave the snow up north. It was snowing lightly as we left and it was beautiful there as awe headed home. Boy what a difference it was when we got home as it was 40 degrees down here as to 26 up north. Well time to get back on the bike for a few rides and then start hitting the bmx track for some racing. See ya on the road. Later..

One More Day

This is a view down one side of our lake with the snow still stuck to the trees and the skies that are beautiful and blue. We spent the day outside splitting some wood for my parents and also the punks were sledding down the hills again today. Tomorrow we head home and I wish we were staying a few more days as the snow and weather is great that is supposed to change in the next few days and it will be nice to be home and not driving in it. Ice skating

Christmas Day

Today all the dust has settled from the gift exchange and we are going to play outside again. Here is a picture of the girls going down one of the hills on the drive way into our place. I don't go down them as I think hitting a tree is not a good thing but they seem to miss the tree's all the time and my luck isn't that good so I watch. Got to hit the ice and skate some more. The Eve

Here is the driveway into our place the day after the snow. These are my Bro's dog's. We don't have any animals with 4 legs as Cece and I don't have a need to get one with all the racing and time we are away from home. These 2 dogs and my parents cat fill the gap for us.

The kids are already getting all giddy about what to wear to church and when are we going to open gifts. This is the best thing about having a few punks around. Going to get the sleds out and watch the kids go down a few hills at break neck speed and try not kill themselves. Going to hit the ice and put on the training skates on Jessica and see how she does. I will try to get a few pictures of the snow and the kids as it is beautiful with the bright blue skies and all. MERRY CHRISTMAS. Later..

White Christmas

We made it to the family cabin in Rhinelander, well my parents have made it there home as of last year. It still has the ton's of memories from the times it was our summer get away. The snow started to show up a little before Stevens Point and as we got closer to the cabin the trees and everything was covered in white. My Dad did get out and plowed the drive in so we didn't get the chance to use the 4 wheel drive. The total was about 7 inches and it was just beautiful compared to the looks of Milwaukee when we left early this morning. We cleared a huge area for the ice skating on the lake this afternoon and the kids hit it for about an hour. It should be better tomorrow as the clear ice gets to cure over night. We may try to get the snowmobiles out for a spin also, just have to see how bad they are buried in the garage. Time to get back to the main house and watch Monster House with the punks. Happy Holidays

With all this rain and soon snow up north I sure wish that I was riding or racing in the 100 degrees like it was in California. Here is a picture from the single speed open race I did. It was like 85 and cloudy at the start and then 100 plus and sunny at the end of the race.

Went to Cece's work Christmas party last night at Botona's and then to Stenny's for a few cocktails after eating. It was a nice night out. Today I was off so went bowling with Jessica's class and that was fun watching 5 year olds toss a ball that is about 1 fifth of there weight. Tomorrow we head to Rhinelander for a couple of days and then maybe the new years eve drop again in Indy. Hope everyone has a great holiday and safe travels. Later..

Winery in California

This is a picture of us at a winery in California and it was the only one we went to that also had air conditioning. It was nice as it was 105 plus outside. I wish I was there right now sucking a few glasses of wine.

Today was a meeting that I had to sit in all day. I'm glad that I don't have to sit inside every day at work as it would drive me nuts. I 3 more days of work and then I have the next 11 off. I still have to carry over 5 days of vacation over next year and have until the end of March to use them so I will use them when the kids have off from school. Also went to visit my grandmother tonight and she is looking great and maybe she will get out of the hospital in the next couple of days. Time to get the punks in bed. Later..

Group Ride

Today was the Sat group ride from the Wheel. It was a nice sized group today and other then waiting a couple of times for some of the others to change their flats it was a nice ride. Nate made his appearence on the ride and only needed a few puhes during the ride but he made it to the end. We are going to try to get as many of these in this year as Nate is moving up to sport in the WORS and needs the speed and distance in his legs. For the recap of the ride check here.

No one got to out of had at the Hayes get together and we all had a great time. It is always fun to see everyone for the party as now we may not see aouple of them until the spring or on a couple of the rides. Time to watch Elf. Later..

Tonight we are getting together for the Hayes road team dinner. I don't know who will be the drunk fool this year. Jack was the fun one in the years past so who is going to step up. Danny are you in? 3 weeks off

We went to the bmx track for the last practice until after Christmas and that really sucks as we look forward to it each week. It was fun this week as there wasn't that many riders there and you could get as many gates as you wanted. I was tired by the end and I actually stopped before it was over for the first time as long as I can remember. It was fun as always lining up with the guys and fighting into the corners with them, sorry if I took a few chances and took a line that cut yours off. Thanks again Ron for helping Nate get his skills better. Time for bed. Later..

Hump Day

Today was another day of testing the heavy scales. The other person that is helping was slow and tired today from the long day yesterday. No worries as I can toss the 50 pound weights all day long and enjoy every minute of it. Today I got the news from my parents that Grandma had a mild heart attack over night. I asked the nurse yesterday if the irregular heart beat lines were a good thing? She said oh not to worry that is something that happens all the time. Well just maybe there was something wrong last night before we left you think. Oh well she seems to be ok, my parents said after talking to the Doctor today. 12-12

Today was another day of throwing around about 75 tons of weights at work. I tested 23 scales requiring at least putting 1,000 pounds or more on them today and then got home and lifted weights as I always considered walking, runinng and lifting at work just that and still have to do the workouts at home. I then got on the rollers and did a nice spin before dinner. I then had to go visit my 87 year old Grandma at the hospital. She is doing fine after an emergency operation yesterday. She will be in the hospital for another couple of days to weeks. Just have to wait and see I guess. With all the stuff going on I skipped the WORBA meeting tonight as I couldn't fit in the visit with Grandma and the meeting. Later..

Christmas Classic

Today Nate and I tossed the race gear back in the car and hit the road back to the barn for some more racing. It was the Christmas Classic and the last race of this year until 1/7/07. Nate got another couple of 2nd place finishes and I got a 3rd again. We both made a couple of decissions that if a little better Nate may have gotten a 1st in age and I could have got a 2nd. But oh well it is just a race and there is always next time. Ronsta was there tossing it down and looked good for not racing for 8 months. I think he may have gotten a few top 5 in in his races. Kenny was also there with Josh. Josh did just miss his main because he looked over so he wouldn't get run over like he did in practice. Kenny made the main and took a 3rd place also today.

At the race I was able to pick up a nice set of Saint cranks for the Felt cruiser that I'm building up for Nate. I just have to keep my eyes open for a carbon fork for it and then I can have it ready for him when he grows in to it. This may also be a bike that I will try and if I like maybe get one for myself. BMX race at the barn

Today Nate and I hit the bmx track for some racing. Nate pulled out a couple of 2nd place finishes and I took another 3rd. In Nates races he had a couple of good races again. In the cruiser class he had to settle for the 2nd behind Bodie but he wasn't far behind and then in age he got the hole shot but the guy just got into the 2nd turn before him and he had to settle for 2nd place. In my main I tapped the brakes in the first turn and that made the difference and I had to settle for 3rd. We are hitting the track again tomorrow for the last race of the year. There still is a practice this Thursday so see the rest of you there. Then the first race of the new year will be Jan 7th 2007. Later..

FRIDAY..

The end of the work week is finally here. The days seemed to fly by and now the real busy time starts. Tonight I have to run the kids to my nieces for a birthday party. The thing is they live 20 minutes away and then I need to pick the kids up 2 hours later. It is worthless to come home but what to really do during the party. Not stay there is the first option as there will be a bunch of wild kids every where. Next is not drive home as when I get home I will have to drive right back. I think I will stop at Colders and American and check out the big screens and maybe a few of the IPODS. Tomorrow it will be racing at the bmx track and then racing again on Sunday as it will be the last races for the year. I some time feel that going to work is the time I get to take it alittle slower as at home it is run run run. Time to get the kids ready and then head to the party. Later..

BMX practice

Today was another day at the barn and hitting the gates. It was fun as the normal gang was there plus one as Ron was there today and he was showing off his mad skills. He was hitting the manuals and jumps tonight but he pulled his foot out one time in front of us and it was cool to watch him keep it up from crashing. Aslo it was fun running the gates with the Danny, Goat Russell, and Kenny. I always like hitting it hard with these guys lined up next to me. After the practice Danny, Russell and fast Girl family hit up BW3's for some wings. Now the kids are cleaned up and in bed and I have to make lunches as Cece is at a school seminar. Time to get going. Later..

WTF?

So I hit the message button on the answering machine and there is a message stating that I have to pay for part of the anesteseologist(spell check not working). This is from when I ran my fingers in the gate at the race track in Kenosha. I called the number from the message and she said that the insurance is thinking $800.00 an hour was to much for his services. They did pay for $600.oo an hour saying that is the amount that is usaully charged in the area. Well the fine lady at the collection company gave 2 weeks to get in the face of Atena and get them to pay up before I have to pay $680.00 for the Doctors services. Next time I'm calling Dr. Dave and I will drink some Jack Daniels and he can perform his magic in the garage.

So today I go and have a scar on the inside of my cheeck removed because I bit it and then the scar tissue was getting in the way of my bite. The Dentist Doctor was Doug Pietz sister. She asked why I had to have the surgries on my leg and hand and I told her they were from accidents at bike related things and she laughs and asked me if I knew Doug. I said yes and then she just asked how we find time to race and train. I said it's just something you will never understand. I told her to give Doug a slap to the side of the head next time she sees him though. She was a good Doctor even though she is Doug's sister and the cheeck feels fine. Heavy Duty

Today I started testing the heavy duty scales that are 1000 lb or plus in the city today. The guy that worked in my postion before me and retired had not done these scales for over 3 plus years and the bosses never figured it out. So I start showing up and the operators say I thought you all stopped doing this as Mark hasn't stopped by in years. No problem the operators were all cool and I went about my job. I have to toss these 50 lb weights on the scale platforms until I reach 1000 pounds and then the scales have to meet tolerences or I order them off until fixed. Today all 8 scales passed. By the end of the day of placing the weights on a special little wagon and then pulling it around to the scales makes you alittle tired. I did manage to come home and get a sprint workout on the rollers with Nate and Maddie though. After riding I aslo did do my weight lifting workout. I have about 60 plus scales to do so I have my work cut out for me.

Tomorrow the kids have their Chritmas concert at school and that is always fun to watch. The little kids are fun to watch as they sing nice and loud and then the older kids mostly just go up there and lip sinc with a few singing loud to cover for the rest. It is still fun and we look forward to it every year. Also tomorrow I'm taking the day off from work to have a lump taken off the inside off my cheeck. It is nothing to worry about, it is just a spot where I bitten it and now there is a bump that is getting bigger from biting it several more times. So get the bump removed and relax in the afternoon before the concert. Later..

Hitt'n the Deck

Yesterday I got up early and Cece and I got out and finished alot of the Christmas shopping as my parents took care of the punks. We hit the mall and a few other stores and got way to many things but what the hell you work to spend it. I plan on not leaving the punks much money when I expire anyways. My parents took The Boy to the bmx races and he took 2nd in age and 1st in cruiser. Cece and I went to the work party and got a nice free dinner and free beer. It was hard but I only had a few as I was racing today. I also won a gift card to BW3's. Today Nate and I headed to the bmx races and it was a rough day. We took home 3 3rd places. I made the main the hard way as I had to use a low high in the 1st turn in the 2nd moto and then made it stick to make it. I then was able to get the 3rd place finish in the main. Nate had a tough cruiser as he was racing up a age class and the other 3 guys are all experts and 13 years old. He got a good gate start in the 2nd moto and was able to pull a 2nd place finish to make the main. He then had a awesome gate and was sitting 2nd but the guy that passed him for 2nd is a NAG 7 in the nation in crusier and Nate was right on their wheels and made them work for their finishes. In his age he got bumped and ran into every moto by the kid who is just trying to take Nate out every time they race. In the first moto he elbowed Nate right into the other racer and Nate had to get his bars out of the other racers bike to get a 2nd. In the 2nd moto the kid came from gate 5 and ran into Nate in gate 7. In the main the kid then t-boned Nate in turn 1 and took Nate out so he finished 3rd overall. So it was a good weekend of racing and now next weekend is the last race for a couple of weeks and and the break will be at a good time to recharge.

White out

At work today I got out of the office a couple of hours later then a normal day because of the snow. I knew that it would be a adventure right from the start as I was trying to get the van out of the parking spot. I was just about out and some jerk drives right by me and I had to hit the brakes. The van got stuck and had to rock it back and forth and keep it gunned and I finally got out. Good thing the van isn't mine as I had it floored and the speedometer was reading 80 to 90 until I got it out. Well after that I was on my way and got a few scales sealed today. I had to pass up a few stops as the parking lots weren't plowed or there wasn't any place to park where I wouldn't get stuck. I did make a stop at one place and got stuck after a guy started to pull out without clearing his windows. I took about an 30 minutes to finally get out and I looked down and it took a 1/4 tank of gas and the miles were 20 more then when I started before I was stuck. I finally stopped at a overpriced grocery store and tested and sealed there scales as the parking lot was clean and I could spend the rest of the day there. I finished and then headed home. I first had to dig my car out at the parking lot. I hate snow. I got home and the walks and back alley were cleared thanks to Cece, Nate and my Dad. I did take the snowblower out and clear the area behind the garage of 2 80 year old ladies and for my nieghbor. Then it was off to the Chiropractor for my monthly adjustment. Now it is time to relax. Ha what snow

Went to the bmx track last night thinking that just maybe the snow would start before we were done. It never did and that was good as I was able to get the hose put away when I got home and get the shovels down from the above storage in the garage. At the bmx practice it was a hoot to be hitting the gates with all the guys again. The Goat is getting faster and I have to hit the gas longer to try stay ahead of him and that doesn't work as many times he is ahead of me. Kenny is getting fast and his skills from being a young gun on the track years ago are coming back and he should be able to hold off Cookie soon. Danny, Ray, Fast Girl Sam, Russell are all right there with us and it is fun to load the gate with us all. Pat showed up again and was riding Russell's 20 inch and tried to take a dirt nap and got a few scraps. I hope he heals fast as he has a cross race this weekend in Chi town.The kids are having a blast riding together and Nate is getting smoother and I think if he gets the right line dialed in he should be winning just about every age race if all goes well. Maddie still needs to loosen up and I think that she will have more fun on the track. Although she just goes there to socialize and that is ok as long she hits a bunch of the gates.

Today it is snowing and Cece and the kids had school called off. I still had to come into work but that took an hour as the van is rear wheel drive and the other drivers were stuck all over on the uphills by the office. I had to drive around the block and find a spot where I could drive straight out as the van handles like shit and I know I'm screwed when I leave as I will may have try to have some one push me because the van will be plowed in. I may have to call the central services and have them send a truck to pull the van out. Just have to see.

Tomorrow Cece and I are going to try to get the Christmas shopping done as my parents are in town for some appointments and they are going to watch the kids. They are taking Nate to the bmx track for races and Cece and I are going to my work Christmas party. Well time watch the cars stuck on the street below for a couple of minutes. Later..
